This fall finds us settled in one of the ministry homes at TBC in Concord, NH. Our children are enjoying the Christian School and the prospect this affords to renew friendships and make new ones.
I am teaching Bible at TCS for the Juniors and Seniors and enjoying the opportunity. In the class we are learning about developing a proper worldview by learning to think Biblically.
Being here has allowed me the chance to assist in coaching soccer once again. Andrew and Isaac are on the team and learning the game of soccer has been a great stretching experience for them. No doubt this will lead to many outreach opportunities for them when we return to Zambia next year. So far the team is 5-0 and looking forward to having a great rest of the season.
This past week Zambia held their presidential election. The Honorable Michael Sata was elected and we are praying that we will continue to see progress in the development of infrastructure throughout the country. Reports coming from my friends on the field say that the people are singing and dancing in the streets with the outgoing of the old regime.
On the weekends we continue to travel to present our ministry to supporting churches and prospective ones. Please pray for us as we travel and for our children as they juggle school with ministry opportunities.

Todd, two of my grandchildren, Tanner & Erin Hayden, from Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington (Wilmngton Christian Academy) are planning to be on the team coming for a short term missions trip to assist in yoiur church planting efforts in Chipata in July 2012. So I would know more about the missionary and the area, I began a search. Found your webbog on Google and more about you on the GFA site. Both of their parents are BJU Alumni and their older sister is a 3rd year student. My wife and I are thrilled to see them take this step.
We retired in January after 13 years of church planting and camp development/operation about 50 miles outside Cape Town. We love the African people and truly miss them.
Alan & Jan Patterson are friends and supported by our home church. They stayed in our home several years ago prior to our going to South Africa. I know what you mean when you wrote about visiting Joberg for your medical need. It is not typical Africa. The medical facilites are excellent.
We will be praying for the team and for yoiur family as you return to Zambia in June.
